| Many of our guides will note what
good listeners our Vendéens are during their visits. Often, the
guides may think "I've finally got the hang of making this thing as
interesting for my guests as it is for me." In fact that is our
fondest wish, too. Since our Vendéens are highly motivated from the
start, all this work is far easier than it might otherwise be.
The preparation for tomorrow involves a brief
review of Romanesque and Gothic art, an overview of the Plantagenêt
and Capetian dynasties that were the creators of this art, and a
presentation of life past and presentation in the swamps of southern
Vendée. You'll see a bit of all that tomorrow evening if we get
back early enough from what promises to be a long day. |
