Jessie and Greta, along with her father, are not the least worried, as you can see. What they don't know yet is that our flight to Chicago is delayed, and we get there with no further margin for error. Number 42 to Paris is announced "On Time," but we know we're not. The race is on as soon as we hit the ground at O' Hare. We'll get to our gate just as they're giving the last call to board. We've made it but we wonder about our precious baggage. Last year was a record for lost luggage among our Vendéens, most in cases of delayed flights with connections... |
