Blue Skies, Nothing but ...

Henri IV is one of France's favorite kings.  He was a Protestant, but he converted in order take the crown.  He then made the world's first declaration of religious freedom with the Edict of Nantes in 1598.  It shook the nation when he was assassinated by the fanatic Ravaillac in 1610.
