The kings and queens buried here go back to Clovis, who converted to Christianity in the 496 AD, and include Charlemagne's parents and children as well as the great Capetian, Valois and Bourbon dynasties. Saint Louis, Louis XIV and even Marie-Antoinette were buried here.
