It's no small paradox that the most holy site of the French monarchy is located in a town that is now one of France's greatest centers of the working class. The labor movement is no stranger to this place, so it's not too surprising that we pass by gathering of the CGT (the Confédération Général du Travail), the largest labor organization in France today.
