After lunch we cross the park to the era of the fourteenth century.  Knights on noble steeds and dressed in shining armor are the order of the day here.   You may know that the term "chivalry" comes from the French word for horse:  "cheval".  The Puy du Fou is in fact one of the most important equestrian institutions in France, a country that for centuries has venerated those who skillfully mount this wonderful animal.
