The Longest Day . . .

The philosophies of Clemenceau and De Lattre were vastly different, the former being a radical republican and the latter a far more conservative traditionalist.  Their destinies bore remarkable parallels, however, and today's visit enlightens us on two remarkably important careers.

The De Lattre home also gives us a view of the lifestyle of the French bourgeoisie of the early 20th century.  It is a time that is also largely forgotten by those who carry forward to the new millenium.
