After lunch we stop for a few minutes at Saint Michel Mont Mercure, the highest point in Vendée. In jest, we call it the Alps of Vendée, but this near the sea and with a little altitude the wind is a powerful source of energy. There are as many windmills here as on the coast where we have spent much of our time so far. |
