Lest we forget . . .

Charette's Cross is a near-sacred site for some in this part of France.  Those of us who remember our walk through the streets of Les Sables recall, however, that the town has a "rue Travot" but not a "rue Charette".  Les Sables was a republican stronghold throughout the Revolution.
