Our guide this morning is Joe Ferré. His is one of the most impressive presentations we will see. Here he shows the use of a wooden propulser that increases the power of the cast by a factor of twenty. This projectile will land beyond the telephone pole over fifty yards away. At that distance, ancient hunters probably worked in groups and cast all at once at the same target. Joe will also demonstrate the accuracy of this arm by putting three shots in a row in the target, some 20 yards away. |
