The rounded arch bridges here are usually those built by pleasure-seekers and not the farmers or ranchers of the swamps. Interestingly, our guide notes that due to the plant life here, mosquitoes are rare and the combination of sun and shade make this a very agreeable place to spend a few days -- or even more... |
