At the top of the list of secular heroes is Voltaire, who is buried in the crypt just across from his contemporary and rival Rousseau.  Among the long list of others buried here are Marie Curie, Victor Hugo, Emile Zola, Jean Jaurès, Jean Moulin, etc.  The word "Pantheon" is not lost in this place.
