*REMEMBER: You MUST take the course you are placed into–and
make a grade of “B” or “A”– in order to receive tuition-free credit for
lower-level language courses. After completing the course, you will need to
complete a form for back credit; this form is available in the Department of
Foreign Languages, Chitwood Hall.
If you believe your placement is too low (for
example, if you are placed in 102 and believe you can perform well in 203),
you may enroll in a class one level above your placement level. If you
wish to be placed higher, please see an advisor in the Department of Foreign Languages.
