Mom's Turn To Learn Initiative

Educational Fair
Date TBA
11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Morgantown Mall

Join us for an educational fair for non-traditional students.

The Mom's Turn To Learn Initiative hopes to help non-traditional students get the attention they need.

This Educational Fair is a free opportunity to get information on enhancing career opportunities through furthering their education. Anyone who wants to start or return to college is invited to participate. We invite you to visit over ten exhibitor's tables and learn about:

      • increasing your salary by earning a technical, professional, undergraduate or graduate degree
      • earning college credit for life experiences
      • financial aid opportunities

If you have spent more time taking care of your children and household and forgotten to take care of yourself? Did you leave the workforce to raise children and find it difficult to return to the competitive job market now that your kids have grown?

Exhibitors will be set up in the Morgantown Mall from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm to discuss the advantages of having different degrees, how to get college credit for life experience and any financial aid opportunities that may be available.

The Educational Fair is co-sponsored by the WVU Council for Women's Concerns, the WVU Center for Women’s Studies, and the President’s Office for Social Justice.
