Mary Catherine Buswell Award

The Mary Catherine
Buswell Award was established in 1978 to honor a student, faculty or staff
member
or citizen who has provided outstanding service to women at West
Virginia University.
The award is named for the first award recipient, the late Mary
Catherine Buswell, Professor Emerita
of English (1947-1978) and
dedicated proponent of equal opportunities for women.
